What will your impact and responsibilities be?
As a student intern in Quality Control & Analytics you will
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team with the goal to expedite the commercialization status of ReCatalyst’s nano-tech platform technology
- Work in a close collaboration with the Product development, Process development and automation teams to empower them with your analytical feedback
- Perform Quality Control as well as other types of analytics of catalysts including electrochemical screening and accelerated stress testing
- Ensuring the produced materials meet the customer’s demands
- Take on any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonable instructed
The candidate for the internship should have the following qualifications:
- Enrollment at the BSc or MSc level in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Technology or similar fields with a valid student status
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
It is an advantage if you have experience with any of the following points:
- Prior work experience in a laboratory setting, namely analytics
- Prior work experience in electrochemistry, fuel cells, electrolysis or similar electrochemical applications
- Experience with development of electrochemical methods, analytical methods
- Very good handling of EXCEL, Origin, Python or equivalent software
What do we offer and description of working conditions:
The work primarily takes place in Ljubljana, at ReCatalyst’s premises at the National Institute of Chemistry. In the near future, the company plans to establish additional infrastructure capabilities in the vicinity of Ljubljana. The work will mainly be performed on-site and will be technical/analytical in nature in a laboratory setting.

- Schedule and type of work: ideally full-time (8 hours, 5 days a week), with the possibility of a flexible work considering your student obligations.
