What will your impact and responsibilities be?

  • Develop new business operations and processes according to the Management’s guidelines, which includes procurement, accounting, logistics, HR, and other administrative flows, with an aim to obtain the ISO 9001 quality certificate
  • Day-to-day execution and administration of business operations and processes as listed above, and support of the Management on these aspects
  • Compliancy checks and control over the work processes, in accordance with ReCatalyst’s policies
  • Office management
  • Execution of basic project management activities of the current ReCatalyst’s projects, which includes but not limited to facilitation of meetings, drafting reports, and administration of the project
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of R&D and business departments to obtain information, perform basic analysis, support the personnel by facilitating information flow
  • Other activities as the company grows, but focused on operative and administrative aspects
  • Responsibility to run the company efficiently, according to the plans, and support the personnel activities through the company’s processes

Both senior and junior candidates are encouraged to apply for this position. Responsibilities and qualification requirements will be adjusted according to experience level, competence, and background.

The candidate should have the following qualifications and aptitude:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business discipline, or an interdisciplinary business discipline
  • A record of organisational skills, and executing “from start to finish”
  • Good overview of various business fields within an organisation, including some understanding of a Start-up culture
  • An aptitude for learning, and developing skills in various business fields
  • High reliability and good communications skills
  • Excellent skills in using MS software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and Slovene

It is an advantage if you have experience with any of the following points:

  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Previous international exposure
  • Work with legal documents, or accounting and financial data
  • Proven ability to facilitate communication through multi-disciplinary technical and business teams

What do we offer and description of working conditions:

The work primarily takes place in Ajdovscina, Slovenia, at ReCatalyst’s premises at the IN PRIME technology park. Due to the nature of work, it is possible to arrange work from home and/or lease a co-working space in the proximity of the candidate’s home for a couple of days per week, but some presence in Ajdovscina is expected.

ReCatalyst is currently comprised of a young team of cross-functional individuals. The nature of work is dynamic and often independent, as the company is still developing, but the system offers a supporting environment through collaboration and outsourced services.

  • Schedule and type of work: full-time (8 hours, 5 days a week), with the possibility of flexible work
  • Type of contract: Permanent position with a starting trial period
